GET CONNECTED!

Attention Resident Students

GET CONNECTED from your dorm room !

Welcome to the College of Notre Dame of Maryland's Campus Network. All residen halls have been upgraded and are complete with activated ports, for fast and easy connection.

The "Get Connected! - Student Connectivity" pamphlet (which is available at the Information Technology Help Desk in Rice Hall) will assist you in preparing your computer for use on the College's network. Most computers puchased with a network card installed by the manufacturer are already prpared for use on our Campus network. SPECIAL SOFTWARE IS NOT REQUIRED. you should have the ability to connect your computer to an active port and surf away! Virus Scan software is available for downlaod to registered students.

Please Note:  Service of your computer is not the responsibility of the College. Any software installation is the responsibility of the student and the College is not responsible for any damages or problems arising from modifications made. The College will ensure that an active network port is available and functioning for your use based on the procedures in the pamphlet. You may choose to take the pamphlet and the "Self-Service Guide" to a local computer repair shop for service. Both the guide and the pamphlet are available at the Information Technology Help Desk in Rice Hall
