Student Telephone Bill Payment

A PAC number is a personally assigned and necessary to make long distance calls from your dorm room. Please protect this number in the same manner as any credit card. This number is valide during the duration of an academic year. If you leave on-campus housing, your PAC number will be deactivated.

Billing Information:
Students are billed for all long distance calls made using the PAC number. Bills are sent out by the 10th of each month. The bills are mailed to the student's campus address unless otherwise indicated on the Student Telephone Service (Change billing address) form. This form is available from Residence Life or the Information Systems Help Desk. If a bill is not received, it is your responsibility to contact the Business Office for account information.

Questions about phone bills should be directed to teh Business Office at (410) 532-5744 between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Payment Information:
Payment is due by the 25th. Payment methods include cash, check, money order, or credit card (VISA, MasterCard, Discover). Payments may be delivered in person to the Business Office, 4701 N. Charles Street, Baltimore, MD 21210. Make checks payable to College of Notre Dame and includ the student's name, SSN, and campus phone number. Do not include the PAC number on the check. There is a returned check fee of $25.

Credit card payments may be made by calling(410)532-5440 and choosing option #4. The telephone prompt will request that you leave the student's name, Social Security number, 16 digit credit card number and expiration date and a daytime phone number where you may be reached.

Deliquent Accounts:
If payment is not received by the 25th of the month in which the bill was sent, the account will be considered delinquent and the PAC number will be turned off. The delinquent balance will be transferred to your student tuition account and will be subject to late fees. To have your PAC number re-activated, the overdue balance and any late fees must be paid in full plus there is a $15 reactivation fee. After paying the outstanding charges including the reactivation fee at the Business Office, submit the receipt to the I.S. Help Desk for reactivation of the PAC number.

Lost/Stolen PAC numbers:
If a PAC card is lost or stolen, immediately notify the Help Desk at (410) 532-5200. You are responsible for all calls made prior to notification to the Help Desk. To have a new PAC number activated, there is a $15 fee. After this fee is paid to the Business Office, submit the receipt to the Help Desk to receive a new PAC number.

All rates are priced per minute and are in effect 24 hours per day, 365 days per year. Peak rates are in effect seven days per week from 8:00 am until 5:00 pm. Please remember to use your PAC number in order to dial all long distance calls from your room. Refer all billing inquiries to the Business Office (x-5744).
